This Privacy Policy explains how the Brain Challenge app (“we”, “our”, “the app”), published by Game Quester, collects, uses and protects your information. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

• Guest play: when you continue as a guest, we create an anonymous account with a random user ID. We do not ask for your name or email.
• Google Sign-In: if you sign in with Google or link your Google account, we receive your Google account ID, email address, and name as provided by Google. We never see your Google password.

Profile information you choose

• The display name and avatar you pick in the app.

Game progress

• Coins, XP, level, streak, daily reward progress, achievements, scores, answered questions, game statistics (such as accuracy and games played), and a record of coin and XP changes.

Device and advertising information

• Our advertising partner may collect device information such as your device model, operating system, IP address, language, and your device’s advertising ID. See Section 4.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, messages, precise location, or microphone audio.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create your account and save your progress to the cloud, so it syncs across your devices.
• To run the game: daily challenges, streaks, rewards, achievements, and levels.
• To show leaderboards.
• To show ads and deliver ad rewards (for example, coins for watching a rewarded ad).
• To process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• To prevent cheating, abuse, and fraud, and to keep the game fair.
• To answer your support requests.

3. What Other Players Can See

Your display name, avatar, level and XP appear on the public in-game leaderboards and can be seen by other players. Your email address is never shown to other players. Please do not use your real full name or any personal information as your display name.

4. Advertising

The app shows ads (banner, interstitial, native and optional rewarded video ads) using AppLovin MAX and the ad networks it works with. These partners may use your device’s advertising ID and device information to show ads, including personalized ads, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud.

• Consent: where the law requires it (for example, in the EU, EEA and UK), the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice later from the app’s settings.
• Opt out: on Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads).

5. In-App Purchases

Coin packs and the VIP subscription are sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google. We do not receive or store your card or payment details; we only receive confirmation of the purchase so we can deliver it.

6. Notifications

The app may ask for permission to send notifications, for example daily challenge and streak reminders. This is optional. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

We use the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above so they can provide their services, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our players and our service.

9. Data Storage and Security

Your game data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which may be located outside your country. Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to each player’s data is restricted by security rules. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account and game progress for as long as your account is active. If you play as a guest and sign out without linking a Google account, that guest progress can no longer be accessed.

To delete your account and data, email us at gamequesterstudio@gmail.com with the subject “Brain Challenge - Delete my account” and include your in-game display name (and your Google email, if you signed in with Google). We will delete your account and game data within 30 days. Coins, VIP time and progress cannot be restored after deletion. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the email below.

12. Children’s Privacy

Brain Challenge is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
